A. Renée Bergstrom, Artist Bio
I began my interest in fiber as a girl sewing my own clothing. Then, as a young mother, I learned to spin on a wheel, dye wool, and weave on a loom. I put the loom to rest while working as an educator. Now in retirement, I have an eight-harness loom in a studio loft where I love experimenting with color, texture and pattern. I also produce postcards and bookmarks from photographs and greeting cards from watercolor
paintings. I greet each day in awe of the changing landscape and like to reproduce in my work what I see in nature.
