Artist Statement
Lines and shapes are drawn out of the color splashes on water color paper using pens and markers. The approach is free and the result is often surprising. Trees and other scenes from nature appear often in Diane Knight’s work. The paper is mounted on wooden plaques and sealed with acrylic varnish.
