Karen Schmidt, Artist Bio

Karen & her husband, Paul, operate their diverse farm near Preston, MN. Karen has a love of nature, animals & art. She hosts a farm stay experience on her farm for visitors to share these passions. A fiber flock of Icelandic sheep, alpaca & llama provide the fiber she creates with. Needle felting, mixed media sculpture & hand spinning the wool are among her favorite art forms.
