Mary Forney, Artist Bio

Mary Forney, is a mixed artist, teacher, and maker, drawing inspiration from the bluffs, valleys, and unique habitat found in the Driftless Region of southeastern Minnesota. She completed her undergraduate work at Concordia University in Seward, NE. She has had the opportunity to share the act of discovery through teaching students all ages from grade school to college. She earned her M.A. in Studio Art from the UW Superior. Teaching is a natural extension of the creative process, to her. She enjoys sharing the creative act of discovery with others. Mary has exhibited and taught throughout Minnesota. Her work can currently be found at Stump Town Gallery in Alma, WI.
