Robbie Brokken, Artist Bio

I have studied in various schools and countries. Among them I have a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I have worked as a Fashion Stylist for Doyle Dane Bernback Advertising, Studio Manager for Paccione Photography, and Talent Representative for Bernard Vidal; international fashion photographer. All based in New York City. I have worked as an art information person at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and have owned my own gallery and was the Gallery Director for Lanesboro Arts in Lanesboro, Minnesota for 17 years. I have sat on the Minnesota State Arts board and Southeast Minnesota Arts Council panel, and I have consulted with Spring Grove’s Bluff Country Gallery, McGregor – Marquette Arts Center and Austin, MN Center for the Arts helping to set up sales galleries and the general business of selling art. I have received two Individual Artist Grants from Southeast MN Arts Board. I have work in the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, McGregor-Marquette Art Center, Lanesboro Arts, Austin Art Center, Northfield Arts Guild and Art Haus in Decorah, Iowa and I have participated in many Art Shows.
